Power Street Theatre, in collaboration with PlayPenn and Esperanza Health Center, is hosting a FREE community story circle and new play presentation and you're invited!
Ama. Egg. Oyá. is a beautiful new play by Lori Felipe-Barkin and directed by Erlina Ortiz, that follows one woman’s journey to motherhood through faith, heartbreak, and Santería — all set in the heartbeat of Hialeah, Florida. It’s raw, magical, and deeply moving.
But this night is more than just a show. We’re creating space to reflect and connect with each other before the performance through a Pre-Show Story Circle for mothers. A welcoming, guided space to share and listen to stories rooted in the themes of the play
